The government is considering establishing a specialized entity to support investments in Africa.
The Ministers of Agriculture and Investment reviewed mechanisms to enhance investment and trade presence in Africa in line with the requirements of the Egyptian markets and the aspirations of the Egyptian private sector.
During a high-level coordination meeting, Dr. Mohamed Farid, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture, discussed the establishment of a specialized investment entity for the African market, aimed at providing support and assistance to Egyptian investors in various sectors, ensuring the expansion of business in strategic sectors related to food security and other productive sectors.
